The story
Mike McCann, a seasoned ice-road trucker, is grappling with survivor's guilt following the death of his younger brother, Gurty. To honor Gurty's final wish, Mike travels to Nepal to scatter his ashes atop Mount Everest. Upon arriving in Kathmandu, Mike hires a local guide and joins a group of passengers on a tour bus navigating the perilous 'Road to the Sky.' However, the journey becomes dangerous when the bus is hijacked by mercenaries attempting to kidnap a local boy, forcing Mike and the others into a desperate struggle for survival against a corrupt industrialist's forces.

Mike McCann travels to Nepal to scatter his brother Gurty's ashes on Mount Everest. He joins a tour bus on the 'Road to the Sky' with a local guide, Dhani, and several others. The bus is hijacked by mercenaries (Jeet and Yug) seeking a boy named Vijay. Mike and the others fight back, eventually reaching the Annapurna Highlands where Vijay reunites with his father. During the escape, several characters are killed, including the bus driver Spike and a local man named Ganesh. After crossing the China-Nepal border, Mike and the survivors defeat the remaining mercenaries and the villainous Rudra Yash. Following the victory, the local villagers gain access to water and electricity. Mike finally fulfills his mission by scattering Gurty's ashes in the Himalayas and shares a final moment with Dhani.
