The story

Narrated from the future, Bianca tells how she and her brother, Tomas, are orphaned after their parents die in a car accident. Being the children of Chilean immigrants, they have no family in Italy where the accident occurred. A bureaucratic problem prevents them from accessing their mother's pension, so they will only receive funds from their father's account.
