Full plot (contains spoilers)
Cordula, the capable owner of the “Black-and-White Foal” Hotel, has only two weeks left before the deadline set in the will of her father, who died five years ago. Within that time, she must marry a man who works in the hotel business, or she will lose the hotel to her uncle Simon. He had kept the will hidden until his niece happened to find it in his desk. Cordula thinks the dashing head waiter Franz is the right man for her. But Franz is interested only in other women. When the pretty hotel-management trainee Monika Jensen arrives, he believes he has found the great love of his life in her. Cordula tries everything to win Franz over, but initially without success. Franz brings his twin brother Benedikt to the hotel so that Benedikt can serve a jail sentence for him for speeding. This only makes the confusion even worse, until in the end everything works out as Cordula had hoped.
