A social media influencer's vacation turns into a nightmare when a new friend seeks to steal her identity and life.
The story
Madison, an influencer, travels to Thailand to promote her brand and various advertisers. While staying at a hotel, she befriends a young woman named CW, who takes her to various hotspots. After a break-in occurs at Madison's hotel room, resulting in her stolen passport, CW suggests that Madison extend her vacation. However, CW's true intentions are revealed when she abandons Madison on a remote island, intending to hijack Madison's online persona and lifestyle for her own gain.

After abandoning Madison on an island, CW returns to use Madison's social media accounts and deepfake technology to impersonate her. CW then targets another influencer, Jessica, using the same tactic of befriending her and stealing her passport. The two women eventually travel to a house owned by Ryan, Madison's boyfriend, who is waiting there to propose. CW lies to Jessica about Madison's permission to stay. Jessica becomes suspicious of CW's behavior with both her and Madison, leading to a confrontation where CW stabs her with a high-heeled shoe. CW then tricks Ryan into believing Madison has cheated on him. Ryan begins investigating and discovers CW's crimes, including the abduction and impersonation of Madison. When Ryan tries to force CW to reveal Madison's location, CW murders him and posts lies about him online using Madison's account. While CW returns to the island to dispose of the bodies, she discovers Madison is still alive. Madison manages to overpower CW, steals a boat, and escapes back to civilization, while CW watches her leave.
