Full plot (contains spoilers)
Gabriel refuses to comply with a prefectural order requiring him to treat his vineyard preventively with pesticides. A follower of biodynamic farming, he opposes the use of chemicals on vines, which he believes weaken the soil, destroy ecosystems, and endanger human health. This principled refusal gradually draws the unassuming, discreet man into a nightmare legal spiral that disrupts his professional and romantic life, turning him, against his will, into a whistleblower.
