Tony Stark must confront a vengeful rival while dealing with a life-threatening condition caused by his own technology.

The story

Following the success of the first film, Tony Stark faces increasing pressure from the government to share his Iron Man suit technology. While Stark struggles with a palladium core that is slowly poisoning him, he attempts to maintain his privacy and independence. Meanwhile, a Russian scientist named Ivan Vanko, who seeks revenge against the Stark family, develops his own version of the arc reactor. As Stark prepares for a major public exhibition, he must navigate the growing threat of Vanko and the complications of his own deteriorating health, all while trying to keep his secret identity and technology out of the hands of his rivals and the government.
