The story

Valle, a successful surgeon with a wife, children and a comfortable home on Lidingö, has always loved his younger brother Adam. Unlike Valle, Adam became involved with drugs and crime at an early age and is now heading toward personal ruin. When the underworld pursues Adam over an unpaid debt, he turns to Valle for help. The threat reaches Valle and his family, forcing him to confront a painful choice: abandon his brother or try to get his wife and children to safety. The story centers on the brothers’ bond and the danger brought into Valle’s family life.
