Full plot (contains spoilers)
Twelve years after exposing the Blackbriar program, ex-CIA agent Jason Bourne lives in isolation in Greece. When Nicky Parsons hacks into CIA servers and finds evidence of his recruitment and his father's role in Treadstone, she travels to Athens to inform him. The breach alerts CIA Director Robert Dewey and Heather Lee, who both pursue the pair. During a meeting in Athens, Parsons is fatally shot by 'The Asset'. Before dying, she gives Bourne a key to stolen files. Bourne travels to Berlin to meet Christian Dassault, who decodes the files, revealing his father, Richard Webb, was a CIA analyst involved in Treadstone. Amidst a series of confrontations with agents and the Asset, Bourne eventually learns that his father was forced to hide the program's secrets. The plot culminates in Las Vegas, where Dewey plans to use a social media giant for mass surveillance. Bourne thwarts several assassinations, eventually confronting and defeating Dewey. In the aftermath, Lee is appointed as the new CIA director and offers Bourne a choice to return to the agency; he tells her he will consider the offer before disappearing once more.
