A cryogenically frozen slasher is revived on a spaceship and transformed into a cyborg.

The story

In 2008, the mass murderer Jason Voorhees is captured by the United States government and held at the Crystal Lake Research Facility. By 2010, he is placed in cryogenic stasis to study his rapid cellular regeneration. Around the year 2455, Earth has become uninhabitable, and humans have moved to Earth II. A group of students and their professor explore the abandoned research facility on Earth I and discover the frozen Jason. They bring him aboard their spaceship, the Grendel, believing him to be dead. However, Jason awakens and begins a violent slaughter of the crew.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

In 2008, Jason Voorhees is captured and held at the Crystal Lake Research Facility. In 2010, he is placed in cryogenic stasis for study. By 2455, humans have fled a polluted Earth I for Earth II. A group of students and Professor Brandon Lowe explore the abandoned facility and find Jason, bringing him to their ship, the Grendel. While the crew believes Jason is dead, he awakens and begins killing them. He kills Adrienne, Stoney, Kinsa, Azrael, and Dallas. After a confrontation with Sergeant Brodski's soldiers, Jason kills them as well. The ship crashes into the Solaris space station, destroying it. Jason kills Lou and decapitates Lowe. During the escape, Kinsa is incinerated. Jason is knocked into a medical station where nanites rebuild him into a cyborg. He kills KM-14 and is eventually stopped by Waylander, who sets off charges to separate the ship's sections. Jason survives but punches a hole through the hull, killing Janessa in the vacuum. Brodski confronts Jason in an EVA suit to fix a docking door; they are both incinerated during atmospheric entry. On Earth II, Jason's charred mask is seen sinking into a lake.
