Two comic book alter-egos travel to Hollywood to sabotage a film production that has cut them out of the profits.

The story

After being served a restraining order by Dante Hicks and Randal Graves, Jay and Silent Bob learn that Miramax Films is adapting their comic book likenesses into a movie, Bluntman and Chronic. Upon discovering they have been excluded from the profits, the duo heads to Hollywood to prevent the film from ruining their image and to demand their royalties. Along the way, they encounter an animal liberation group and eventually navigate the complexities of the film industry to confront the production and the individuals who sold their rights.
