The story
A day after the events of the first film, the police discover the Creeper's truck filled with dead bodies, but the vehicle is booby-trapped. When Sheriff Dan Tashtego and Sergeant Davis Tubbs learn of the Creeper's motives, they attempt to recover the truck before it is impounded. Meanwhile, a local woman named Gaylen receives a vision from her late son, warning her that the Creeper is coming for what she has buried on her property. As the threat looms, a small team of locals and a group of teenagers find themselves in the path of the supernatural entity.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
Following the discovery of the Creeper's booby-trapped truck, Sheriff Dan Tashtego and Sergeant Davis Tubbs attempt to secure the vehicle. During transport, the Creeper abducts one of the drivers. Nearby, Gaylen receives a warning from her late son's spirit regarding a buried object. A group of teenagers encounters the truck and is decimated by the Creeper. Simultaneously, a young girl named Addison is abducted while out with a friend. Gaylen discovers a hand that provides information about the Creeper's ancient nature. The task force eventually locates the Creeper on a highway; during a confrontation, several members are killed. Addison survives an encounter with the Creeper and is found by Gaylen and her friend. The film concludes with a jump forward of twenty-three years, showing Trish Jenner preparing to fight the Creeper when it eventually returns.
