The story
For eight years, the very different friends Lilli, Carla, and Meta, all over seventy, have paid into a shared skat fund, hoping to fulfill their lifelong dream of taking a luxury cruise together. When they go to deposit their savings at the bank, it is robbed. The three women decide to take drastic measures to get their money back. With Carla suffering from terminal cancer, they are running out of time to make their dream come true.

Now they want to use their savings to finally fulfill a lifelong dream: a luxury cruise together. When they go to deposit the money at the bank, it is robbed. So the three elderly women decide to resort to drastic measures themselves to get their money back. They are running out of time, because Carla has terminal cancer. They also plan a bank robbery so they can still fulfill their dream of taking a luxury cruise together. Their first attempt fails; a second lands them in prison, where Carla dies.
