Two young women seeking easy money try prostitution in the Bavarian countryside, where their arrival draws the attention of a local vigilante group.
The story
Rosl and Veronika hope to make money without much effort and decide to try prostitution after attracting men’s attention in Munich. Believing that men in the countryside may be less demanding, they head for the Bavarian foothills of the Alps and quickly find a place to stay on a farm. Their arrival soon brings them into conflict with a local vigilante group from a nearby spa town. The municipal council is convened to consider how to prevent prostitution.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
The two young women, Rosl and Veronika, want to make a lot of money without much effort, and they soon hit on what seems to them an appropriate idea: trying their luck as prostitutes. After all, in the big city (here, Munich), men are only too happy to follow them with lustful looks and make suggestive comments. But since people in the countryside seem to be sexually underserved and, unlike city folk, not too demanding, the women head for the Bavarian foothills of the Alps. There, Rosl and Veronika quickly find a new place to stay on a farm. Before long, however, the two have the local vigilante group from the idyllic spa town on their backs. The local municipal council is even convened to decide how to “prevent prostitution.” But the self-appointed, hypocritical guardians of virtue are anything but as devout and strict about morals as they like to make out. Soon the council changes its mind, and its representatives are tempted to try the two women’s charms for themselves.
