After a botched safecracking attempt lands their leader in prison, the Jönsson Gang reunites for a new robbery plan involving an unreliable dynamite expert.
The story
The Jönsson Gang is preparing to break into a Franz Jäger safe at Berns Salonger when Vanheden’s cousin Dynamite-Harry arrives heavily intoxicated and ruins the robbery. The gang’s leader, Charles-Ingvar “Sickan” Jönsson, ends up in prison. Ten months later, Sickan is released with a new plan: the gang will break into the home of its archrival, shady financier Wall-Enberg, and steal a considerable sum of money. They bring in Harry, now sober, to help, though his knowledge of dynamite is out of date. Meanwhile, an ambitious police commissioner is planning a raid on Wall-Enberg.
