Julekongen (2015)

Three years have passed since Eiril was forced to close the portal between our world and Knight Valley to keep the kingdom free from evil. In doing so, she also separated herself from her best friend Kevin, with whom she had restored Christmas in Knight Valley. Now it is Christmas again, and an unhappy Kevin is still working hard to find a new portal to Knight Valley, while Eiril—who in the meantime has become queen of the kingdom, where Kevin is still revered by the people and known as the Christmas King—remains just as inconsolable. Kevin’s little sister Mira is trying to put her princess dreams behind her. Their parents are struggling financially and arguing with each other, and times are hard for the Gran family, who may have to cancel yet another Christmas celebration. But then the evil wizard Snerk stumbles upon a very powerful suit of magical armor, and now all he needs is the magical snow glove to complete it. Eiril is forced to flee—and accidentally opens the portal again, ending up in a coma in hospital in Kevin’s hometown of Sølvskogen. Snerk takes the throne, and once again evil reigns. This eventually sends Kevin and Mira on a perilous journey into Knight Valley to save the kingdom from Snerk’s evil clutches by taking the armor from him and restoring Christmas, Eiril’s throne, and family harmony.
