A young man with the ability to teleport must evade a secret society determined to eliminate him.
The story
After falling into the Huron River, 15-year-old David Rice discovers he can teleport, or 'jump'. He escapes his abusive father and moves to New York City, where he uses his abilities to rob banks. Eight years later, David lives a luxurious lifestyle until he is confronted by Roland, the leader of the Paladins. The Paladins are a religious organization that views Jumpers as unholy abominations and seeks to eradicate them. Roland has been tracking David for years and uses specialized equipment to disrupt his jumping abilities, forcing David to flee and hide while dealing with the growing threat of the organization's crusade.
