A prehistoric theme park faces catastrophe when a genetically engineered dinosaur escapes its enclosure.
The story
Set twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park, a successful theme park of cloned dinosaurs, dubbed Jurassic World, has operated on the island of Isla Nublar. The park's existence brings John Hammond's dream to fruition. However, the facility plunges into chaos when a transgenic dinosaur escapes from its enclosure and goes on a rampage. As the situation escalates, the park's staff and visitors must navigate the dangers of the escaped creature while trying to manage the escalating crisis on the island.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
Twenty-two years after the 1993 Jurassic Park disaster, a new theme park, Jurassic World, is built on Isla Nublar. Owen Grady, a dinosaur expert, trains a pack of Velociraptors while Claire Dearing manages park operations. The park's newest attraction, the transgenic Indominus rex, is created by Dr. Henry Wu. When the Indominus escapes its paddock, it causes chaos across the island. Owen and Claire must find two siblings, Zach and Gray Mitchell, who have wandered into a restricted area. The Indimus rex causes destruction, and a stampede of Pteranodons and Dimorphodons ensues after it breaks into the park's aviary. Amidst the chaos, Vic Hoskins attempts to weaponize the raptors. Owen eventually leads the raptors to confront the Indominus. The Indominus is eventually defeated by a combination of the raptors and the original Tyrannosaurus rex, before being pulled underwater by a Mosasaurus. The survivors are evacuated, and the island is abandoned.
