Kaltes Blut - Julia Durant ermittelt (2019)

The film follows Chief Detective Superintendent Julia Durant and her team, consisting of detectives Markus Schulz and Felix Dombrowski, as well as forensic pathologist Elif Kaymaz, as they investigate in the village of Okriftel, near Frankfurt am Main. In the rather conservative village, two schoolgirls, Kerstin Grumack and Selina Kautz, disappear one after the other. Both are 16 years old, have problems with their parents, and are therefore in therapy at the Herzland riding stable. The investigation reveals that Kerstin Grumack is having an affair with her married riding instructor, Sonja Kaufmann. Selina Kautz also has a secret relationship: she is involved with a much older man who is also married. Shortly afterward, Grumack’s body is found in a nearby lake.
