Katze im Sack (2005)

Karl and Doris meet on a train and fall in love, but she has a distant, voyeuristic relationship with Ralf Brockmann, a much older security specialist. Karl, who is traveling without a destination, decides to stay in Leipzig, where Doris works at a karaoke bar. The film follows Karl, Doris, and Brockmann on their separate journeys through the Leipzig night. It is less about what happens than about the game of desire and secrecy that the three of them play and experience in different ways. Many subplots unfold before the story comes together as a whole.
