Engineer Ralph Korda has developed a revolutionary new car prototype. As he tries to bring the project to fruition, however, the difficult, solitary man encounters all kinds of resistance. Although the vehicle is already ready for mass production, the chairman of the BAG Group blocks production of the environmentally friendly car, which does not rely on gasoline combustion. Representatives of the oil industry also exert their influence to prevent the vehicle’s launch. Other companies show a strong interest in the technology Korda developed, but have motives of their own. Korda fights to take possession of his invention so he can still bring the vehicle to market, but turns down an offer worth millions from an arms company.
