Kouzelný měšec (1996)

The witch Bludimíra wakes from a 27-year sleep and discovers that her spellbook has been destroyed. To get money, she sets off with her servant Huhla, posing as a charming noblewoman, for the kingdom of King Jan, where she intends to obtain a magic purse. The king is currently looking for a bridegroom and future king for his daughter, Princess Blanka. Prince Velemír is interested in her. But when he learns that the magic purse has been stolen, the princess suddenly loses her appeal to him. Prince Petr hears about the loss of the purse and the troubles in the neighboring kingdom. He begins working at the castle as a chimney sweep and searches for the purse. Bludimíra, who has won the king’s favor, is searching for it too, as are the thieves Chytrouš and Bystrouš, who have also made their way into the castle. Princess Blanka and Prince Petr fall in love and, with the help of the witch’s servant Huhla, who no longer wants to serve her, expose Bludimíra. With his help, the purse is found, Bludimíra is defeated, and Blanka and Petr get married.
