Full plot (contains spoilers)
Marguerite, a 13-year-old girl living in 1942, climbs into a so-called “magic” trunk and comes face to face with Margot, another girl the same age who lives in 2019. The two girls switch places: Marguerite tries to find out what became of her father, who is missing, and asks her new friend Nathan for help, while Margot tries to return to her own time. Alice, Marguerite’s aunt, figures out where Margot comes from, and the two of them decide to find Marguerite’s father together in order to undo the time spell. Alice takes the opportunity to ask for information about the Second World War and life in the future. In the present, Margot’s stepfather suspects nothing and does not understand what is going on.
