Full plot (contains spoilers)
After a violent nighttime storm, troupe leader Lukas and a group of five provincial dancers find shelter in the castle of the nobleman Gabor Kerassy. Forced to host them, the nobleman insists that none of his guests wander around the building at night. Kathia, who did not keep to the agreement, is found dead the next day. Vera falls for the nobleman, who confides that he is going away because his life is in danger. Forced to remain in the castle because the river is in flood, they reach nightfall. It is then discovered that the nobleman had long been battling one of his vampire ancestors.
