When his older brother Mokhi refuses to take him to Kabul’s grand bouzkachi game, where Mokhi will compete for Kataghan province, young Rahim decides to make his own way there. Guided by Azrael, the angel of death, Rahim manages to reach Kabul with difficulty. There, after being humiliated by another rider, Ouroz, Rahim gnaws at the strap of Ouroz’s horse. But it is Mokhi who is riding the horse. As the game is underway, the boy rushes to warn him and is trampled to death by the riders, while Mokhi wins the bouzkachi without the strap giving way.
