If his hands had not been tied behind his back, Justo Castelo would have been just another son of the sea to meet his death in the waters while working. With no witnesses or clues to the dead man’s boat, the taciturn Inspector Leo Caldas immerses himself in the town’s seafaring community, trying to solve the crime.
