Full plot (contains spoilers)
Princess Miriam, a former law student and former fashion model, is appointed foreign minister of her country, Taslamia, and sent by the dictator Kaboto to Italy—specifically, Milan—to negotiate a construction deal with a group of industrialists. During her stay in the city, she meets the mysterious Gladys, an American who tries to introduce Miriam to the city’s high society and make her feel at ease, but who is also playing a double game; and the journalist Marco, who, together with a colleague, devises a trap to obtain material for a scandalous article about the visiting minister. Miriam’s sensuality stirs both their passions, and when Marco, with Gladys’s help, manages to get the evidence for his article—a roll of film showing Miriam in the midst of an orgy—the princess gives herself to him in a restroom at Linate Airport. Marco then drops the roll of film to the floor, giving up his scoop.
