The story
After leaving everything behind, Franck and Karine Petit move to the mountains with their son to pursue their dream. Their landlords, Patrick and Estelle, developers who rent them a chalet, explain that the residence they had expected to occupy is not ready because construction has been delayed. They offer the young family another chalet as a temporary home, despite facing financial difficulties of their own. As the days pass, Franck and Karine begin to feel increasingly bitter and jealous toward the wealthy neighbors who own and rent them the property, unsettling the promise of their fresh start.
