The story
From 2004 to 2006, the film follows Karl Lagerfeld in his everyday life and at public appearances. It opens as he prepares to travel from his Paris residence, packing jewelry and the white collars associated with his style. The documentary then takes viewers behind the scenes of several fashion shows and their preparations. Interspersed moments show Lagerfeld working as a photographer, including alongside model Brad Kroenig, whom he discovered. The film also captures meetings with Nicole Kidman and Caroline of Monaco.
