Five former colleagues embrace unemployment and form a club to stay on the state's support.
The story
A steel crisis leaves many people in Minett suddenly unemployed. Among them, five former colleagues take an unexpected liking to their new circumstances and vow to remain out of work indefinitely while living at the state’s expense. Their plan is not as effortless as it sounds: avoiding work can require even more sweat than accepting it. The five respond by founding the “Club des Chômeurs,” turning their shared commitment to unemployment into a collective undertaking.
