Jeff, retired in the south of France, has had enough and heads back to Paris to pitch Alex, the director of their former publishing house, a project for a sports dictionary. Jeff would be editor-in-chief, Alex publisher, and Manu and Antoine would also take part as members of the editorial committee—which promises some spectacular arguments between them. He is also looking after Elsa and their daughter. His eldest daughter, Margot, is leaving her husband for a married man, and his ex-wife Françoise has split up with her lover. Antoine, although he still sees his ex-wife Lili for tender moments (in secret from their son), is not emotionally stable. He has been seeing a psychologist for a year to understand why he wanted to get divorced. He eventually falls head over heels for Jeanne, a jeweler, and starts pursuing her fairly quickly. Before long, he moves in with her. But her partner has a bit of trouble accepting that she is leaving him. Manu and Juliette have moved in together and had a child. But Manu is cheating on his partner with Karine, the partner of one of his suppliers, and, as the affair grows more serious, he wants to end his relationship so he can be with her. He then learns that she has to move to the south with her husband, and their affair comes to an abrupt end. So Manu and Karine spend their first and last night together in Étretat, while his three friends return to the Cabourg casino. As for Juliette, she knows Manu is cheating on her, but also knows that in the end he will stay. Manu’s mother, Marie, has met a baritone who lavishes a great deal of attention on her, which makes Manu rather sad. Alex is eventually caught red-handed by his wife: her boss is in love with her, and to persuade her to join him, he had Alex followed to prove that Alex was unfaithful. Rejected by his daughter Charlotte and thrown out of the marital home, Alex tries every possible way to win Nanou (and Charlotte) back, even if it means giving up his womanizing ways for good. His friends will have to go all out to help him.
