Leslie’s ancestors came from Botswanga, ruled by football-loving dictator Thibault “Bobo” Babimbi. Babimbi makes a crooked deal with Didier to recruit Leslie for Botswanga’s national team, the Crocodiles. Didier and Leslie spend a week in the country, an absurd dictatorship where its ruler knows the names of his pet crocodiles better than the names of his own children.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

The young and talented French footballer Leslie Konda (Ibrahim Koma), who plays as a striker, has just signed a contract with a major Spanish club. His agent, Didier (Fabrice Éboué), a rather small-time figure, spotted him during his adolescence. Leslie’s ancestors came from Botswanga, a country ruled by the dictator Thibault “Bobo” Babimbi (Thomas Ngijol). A football enthusiast, Babimbi strikes a crooked deal with Didier so that Leslie Konda will join his country’s national team, the Botswanga Crocodiles. Didier and Leslie spend a week in an absurd dictatorship where the tyrant knows the names of his pet crocodiles, which eat political opponents, better than he knows the names of his own children.
