Full plot (contains spoilers)
In the village of Ronenval, Théo is a little boy his classmates call a “loser.” Ever since his father died rescuing someone from a lake, the boy has been aquaphobic. His family is also facing serious financial difficulties after his mother was fired as a result of a miscarriage of justice. One day, in the village library, he discovers a strange book of magic that reveals the secrets of making an invisibility ring. With his friends’ help, he decides to follow the instructions so he can retrieve the work of art stolen by the three sisters and prove his mother’s innocence. But things get complicated when the ring is taken from him while he is invisible. He has one last resort: Agénor Arkandias. The only problem—and it is no small one—is that Agénor has never faced this kind of mission before. Through one mishap after another, Théo finds himself up against the cunning and greed of the Boucher sisters, but he can always count on his two friends: Laura Joubert, an orphan going through an adolescent crisis, and Bonaventure “Bonav” Saint-Juste, a severely overweight classmate who is passionate about cinema and is his best friend.
