Full plot (contains spoilers)
Nathalie Leroy is convinced that she has been cursed, preventing her from having a Christmas without a catastrophe—and that this has been the case for 34 years. She and her husband, Antonin, consult a psychiatrist, who suggests they skip Christmas to break the curse, then summons an African mage to get another diagnosis: bring the family together and reconnect with her sister, who left 34 years ago and never came back. Torn between the sadness of not celebrating Christmas and the anxiety of a disaster to come on Christmas Eve, she watches her husband take matters into his own hands.
