Full plot (contains spoilers)
At the Family Planning Center, women share their stories: Djamila would like to go on the pill because things have become serious with her boyfriend; Zoé’s mother gives her condoms but calls her a slut; Nedjma hides her pills outside her home because her mother searches her bag; Hélène thinks she is too fertile; Clémence is afraid to have an abortion; Adeline would have liked to keep the baby, and so would Margot; Maria Angela would like to know who got her pregnant; Ana Maria chose love and freedom. Anne, Denise, Marta, Yasmine, and Milena are the counselors who welcome them and listen as each woman wonders how sexual freedom can be possible. In God’s offices, people laugh, cry, and get overwhelmed. They dance there, smoke on the balcony, and come there anonymously to tell their ordinary or unbelievable stories.
