Unable to fit in with disillusioned or cynical soldiers, and overwhelmed by the Viet Minh’s cruel actions, Robert pursues the killers in secret. He obtains permission to form an informal commando unit from repentant Viet Minh prisoners and sets out to track down Yo Binn Yen, whom he holds responsible for the massacre and other atrocities against civilians.
