Les femmes s'en balancent (1954)

Lemmy Caution is called to Italy to investigate the origin of counterfeit banknotes found in the possession of a certain Henrietta Aymes, whose husband had committed suicide a few months earlier. His investigation first leads him to the “Casa Antica,” a nightclub run by Fernandez and Perera, shady characters who were former associates of Aymes. He meets Paulette Bénito, a blonde vamp and Aymes’s mistress, and finds Aymes himself, who had pretended to be dead so he could enjoy a blissful life with Paulette and have Henrietta blamed for his death. With the gangsters eliminated or arrested, Lemmy can turn his thoughts to the voluptuous Henrietta.
