The story
After a year at Saint-Potache School, Ducobu is eager to enjoy the holidays. His plans change when his father announces a vacation with the Gratin family. Staying with Léonie and her mother brings early-morning wake-ups, museum visits, and revision sessions. The trip becomes more complicated when Ducobu encounters Latouche and Miss Rateau, who are holidaying at the same campsite. He then discovers a clue to a lost treasure on an island said to be home to a frightening half-pig, half-bear monster known as the Pours.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
After a year at Saint-Potache School, where Ducobu saved his classmates from the clutches of a wolf during an outdoor class in the first installment, the holidays have barely begun when Ducobu starts thinking about everything he’ll be able to do. But the holidays won’t be all fun and games, because his father tells him they’re going on vacation with the Gratin family. With Léonie and her mother, Ducobu discovers a new routine: early-morning wake-ups, museums, and revision sessions. To top it all off, Ducobu runs into Latouche and Miss Rateau, who are spending their holidays at the same campsite. Then he finds a clue to a lost treasure on an island said to be home to a terrible half-pig, half-bear monster nicknamed the Pours, who has a knack for frightening tourists, sailors, and even young schoolchildren.
