Full plot (contains spoilers)
It all begins when psychologist Doubravka (Daniela Kolářová) and medical student Boba Karásek (Oldřich Vízner) arrive from Prague at a cottage near a village. There, Boba spends all day preparing for his resit exams, while Doubravka, left alone, goes for walks in the surrounding area. On these walks she also meets Honza (Jaromír Hanzlík), a tractor driver who has lost his driver’s license and now has to herd the cooperative’s cows. This also helps Doubravka realize that she does not love the selfish Boba. The two young people gradually grow closer, and the story ultimately ends with the wedding of Honza’s brother Láďa (Evžen Illín) and Jitka (Hana Čížková).
