Liebe, so schön wie Liebe (1972)

The film begins at the wedding of Sylvie’s boyfriend, to which she has been invited. He had been in a relationship with her, but ultimately chose another woman. We then see Sylvie and her friend Isolde at their shared apartment in Munich. They are receiving an unexpected visit from a GEZ inspector. Although Sylvie tries to get rid of him, her attempt is thwarted by her friend’s naivety. Isolde lets the man into the apartment, seduces him, and he forgets what he came to do. Shortly afterward, they receive a visit from a second inspector, who has forged his ID. Unlike the first, he is young and good-looking. The two young women seduce him as well. The inspectors become friends with Sylvie and Isolde and join their group. Their plan is to start a traveling circus so they can become financially independent. The group heads to the countryside to rehearse. They present their act, which seems rather amateurish in places, but nevertheless shows their enthusiasm for the project.
