An international thief and his crew must team up with an Interpol agent to pull off a daring gold heist mid-flight.
The story
Cyrus Whitaker, a renowned international thief, leads a specialized heist crew that executes simultaneous thefts in London and Venice. When Interpol agent Abby Gladwell, a former fling of Cyrus, uncovers evidence implicating his crew member Denton, she arrests him. Instead of prosecuting the entire group, her superior, Commander Huxley, forces the crew to help capture billionaire Lars Jorgensen. Jorgensen plans to use a hacking group to stage a massive flooding in Europe for stock manipulation profit. To secure their clean records, the crew must intercept a shipment of untraceable gold bullion being transported via a commercial airliner.

Cyrus Whitaker leads a crew—Denton, Camila, Mi-Sun, Magnus, and Luke—to steal a Van Gogh painting and stage a kidnapping of NFT artist N8. After N8's NFT value balloons, the crew celebrates. However, Interpol agent Abby Gladwell arrests Denton. Commander Huxley then forces the crew to help capture Lars Jorgensen, who intends to profit from a staged flood in Europe. The gold for Jorgensen's deal is being flown on a commercial airliner. To steal it, the crew uses a private jet to fly underneath the airliner, with Mi-Sun switching radar signals to divert the plane to a private airfield. During the heist, a fight breaks out with Jorgensen's henchmen. Magnus escapes, but Cyrus, Abby, and Camila are captured and taken to Jorgensen's estate in Tuscany. Huxley orders the plane shot down, but a message from the crew's contact at air traffic control forces NATO to stand down. After a final fight, the jet crashes at the villa. Cyrus uses cameras to record Jorgensen murdering a representative, leading to Jorgensen's arrest. Abby resigns from Interpol to join Cyrus. It is revealed that the crew had already swapped the gold for painted iron bars during the initial airliner heist.
