Lommbock (2017)

The film takes place 15 years after the events of Lammbock – Alles in Handarbeit. Stefan, who had originally planned to open a beach bar in the Caribbean, has since built a career as a lawyer and is about to marry businesswoman Yasemin in Dubai. All he still needs is his birth certificate, which he has to collect in Germany. However, what was supposed to be a short trip back home gets extended after Stefan runs into his old buddy Kai, with whom he used to run the cannabis pizza delivery service “Lammbock.” Kai has since rebranded the delivery service as an Asian food delivery business called “Lommbock” (after the Indonesian island of Lombok). After the two smoke a joint together, they return to a path they had long thought forgotten. Kai’s marriage seems to be falling apart. His stepson Jonathan is going through puberty and is now dealing marijuana on a large scale. Back in Dubai, Stefan is supposed to take the planned drug test. With Kai’s help, he manages to tamper with the urine test using a Screeny Weeny (a fake penis connected to a water reservoir pouch and permeable to water). Shortly before the wedding, Stefan confesses to Yasemin that he slept with his ex-girlfriend Jenny, whereupon she hits him and leaves. The film ends with Stefan and Kai trying to smoke a joint in the bathroom at Dubai airport while evading the smoke detectors.
