Full plot (contains spoilers)
Murphy is an American film student living in Paris. On a rainy January morning, he receives a call from Nora, the mother of his ex-girlfriend Electra, who is searching for her daughter after two months of silence. The film then transitions into a non-linear exploration of Murphy and Electra's two-year relationship, which was characterized by drug abuse, intense physical intimacy, and tender moments. The narrative reveals that they once engaged in a three-way relationship with Murphy's current partner, Omi. However, Murphy continued a secret sexual relationship with Omi, which led to an unplanned pregnancy. Because Omi refused an abortion, Murphy and Omi remained together in a loveless relationship to raise their son, while Electra was pushed out of their lives. The film concludes with Electra's ultimate fate remaining unknown.
