Love Machine (2019)

Georg “Georgy” Hillmaier is a musician with neither success nor ambition. He makes the rounds with his two-man band until his bandmate Waldemar dies suddenly of a heart attack. After being evicted from his apartment, he moves in with his sister Gitti, who works as a waxing specialist and beauty consultant. To earn money, he starts working as a male escort. His sister is initially somewhat skeptical, but soon supports him and refers her clients to him for a commission, much to the displeasure of Gitti’s boss, Josefine Ferstl. Georgy may have a bit of a beer belly, but he is very sensitive and empathetic, which makes him popular with the ladies. Business is going well, but he falls in love with driving instructor Jadwiga, the sister of his late bandmate Waldemar, and the two begin a relationship. He keeps his work as a male escort secret from her. After a disastrous date, Georgy is admitted to the hospital with his client Uschi Baumann, where Jadwiga visits him. There, he has to confess to her that he works as a male escort. After he is discharged from the hospital, Georgy and Jadwiga reconcile, and she agrees to let him continue his work.
