Love Steaks (2013)

Clemens begins his probationary period as a masseur at a wellness hotel on the Baltic Sea. Shy and often awkward, he tries to find his feet in the world of luxury. Lara, a trainee chef, meanwhile handles her work in the kitchen with cheeky confidence. The two gradually grow closer. Lara, who likes to take what she wants, has to resort to all sorts of tricks before she finally gets him into bed. He manages to gradually overcome his initial insecurity and, not least through his relationship with Lara, becomes more self-confident. When he begins to express his own wishes more clearly, their first conflict arises. Lara, who always wants to stay in control, loses herself in alcohol again. Clemens wants to help Lara with her drinking problem, but has to realize that he cannot “heal” her, among other things, with his massage treatments. Concerned, he mentions to the kitchen management that wine bottles should not be left lying around carelessly in the kitchen. Lara’s locker is searched on the basis of the now-substantiated suspicion, and alcohol is eventually found. Lara is confronted with this and receives a verbal warning from her supervisor. However, she lies to Clemens, telling him that she has now been fired because of his “betrayal.” During a hotel management meeting, Clemens then confronts those he believes are responsible. He quits his job. Lara hears about it and runs after him. At the bay, the two first slap and wrestle with each other fiercely, until they finally kiss.
