Full plot (contains spoilers)
Top agent Lucky M., dressed in a silly costume with a large “L” and never at a loss for a cheeky quip, is approached during a costume party in London by a young woman dressed as Cleopatra, who asks him for help. She claims that gangsters are on the trail of the attractive spy. Before he can come to her aid, the young woman is murdered. Lucky M. is then sent to New York, where he is to bust a counterfeiting ring specializing in fake dollar bills. In the city on the Hudson, the head of a Wall Street secret society called the “Archangels” contacts him and fills him in. Next, it’s on to Rome, where Lucky M. is to meet an informant. The meeting place: the square in front of the Colosseum. But before the man can say anything, he dies with a knife in his back. As he lies dying, the informant manages to give the super-agent another clue. This clue leads Lucky and Michele, a helper of Lucky’s who joined him in Rome, to Albania, where the counterfeit bills are supposedly being made in a paper factory. But when they arrive, the hall is already deserted, and the counterfeiters have flown the coop. Lucky and his pal now suddenly have the Albanian police on their tail. Their chief, Yaka, is not only persistent but also quite seductive. Next stop: the Caribbean island of Lupagan. A nightclub owner named Madame Linda, from Kashmir, is said to have connections with the head of the counterfeiting ring. Lucky M. turns up the pressure on the woman in order to get to the gang’s boss more easily, but all he accomplishes is making Madame Linda the next victim of the unscrupulous arch-villain known as “Gold Glasses.” But Linda’s right-hand woman, the Saxon-accented Kunigunde, knows where the head of the gang is hiding. Together, they set out to take down the villain and his men …
