When Mike loses his apartment, a borrowed caravan takes him and his teenage daughter back to a campsite tied to his past with her mother.
The story
Mike and Claudia's relationship has been on a “break” for nine years, though Mike regularly spends time with their 15-year-old daughter, Hannah. Hannah thinks her father is much cooler than her mother's new boyfriend, Thomas. When unpaid rent forces Mike to leave his apartment, he borrows an old caravan from his boss, Achim, and takes Hannah to the campsite he once visited often with Claudia. Hannah invites her 30-year-old boyfriend to join them, hoping to have sex for the first time on her 16th birthday. Claudia and Thomas also arrive at the campsite, setting the stage for an uneasy family reunion.

Mike and Claudia took a “break” from their relationship nine years ago, and it has lasted into the present. He regularly spends time with their 15-year-old daughter, Hannah. She thinks he is much cooler than Thomas, her mother’s new boyfriend. When Mike has to leave his apartment because of unpaid rent, he borrows an old caravan from his boss, Achim, and takes Hannah to the campsite they used to visit often with Claudia. Hannah gets her 30-year-old boyfriend to come there; she wants to have sex for the first time on her 16th birthday. Claudia and Thomas also arrive at the campsite, one after the other, and later break up. Mike and Claudia grow close again and go on a “second first date.” She gets promoted, while he moves onto the campsite and becomes its new caretaker.
