An expatriate in Kenya tries to escape a murder charge in New York, but his past follows him to Africa.
The story
Tony la Palma lives in Kenya, helping Dr. Sean with work protecting animals. His love affair with Giulia brings the past he has been running from back into view: thousands of miles away in New York, he is wanted for murder. Although he has made a life in Africa, the distance does not keep him safe from what he left behind. Tony finds himself facing the past he hoped to escape, while his life with Giulia and his work alongside Dr. Sean place him in a new setting far from New York.
