Mariage mixte (2004)

At the helm of a large casino group, Max Zagury, a respectable businessman, leads a happy life. Proud of his social success, he is especially pleased to see his daughter, Lisa, succeed in every area. He also has ambitious plans for her. He dreams of marrying her off, in the purest Jewish tradition, to the son of his best friend. Suspicious by nature, however, he has decided to hire a man to keep her under constant surveillance. When he learns that Lisa is already in love with another suitor, he sees red—especially since the man is a “goy” (a non-Jew). For this somewhat overbearing father, it is the last straw. Lisa will try to gently change his mind.
