Full plot (contains spoilers)
Television host Jennifer Stolz is a hot item with men. One of her male admirers, Nikolaus “Nicki” Feldhaus, an inmate on day release, is so infatuated with the young woman that he kidnaps her on a bus with his friend Konrad. Although the host is initially beside herself with anger, she develops sympathy for the two men. She sees the abduction as her own path to freedom. Eventually, Jennifer grows closer to both men, and a three-way relationship develops. Her producer, who wants to turn the kidnapping into a sensational PR campaign and stage a grand rescue, is promptly left tied up and gagged in the street. In a chapel, the three symbolically hold a wedding ceremony for all three of them. When they are eventually frolicking in the sea, they flee from the approaching crowd of police officers in a wedding carriage.
