The story

With his 70th birthday approaching, Max is once again frustrated by the company where he used to work. Its new manager, Mr. Schraps, favors the women’s football team, which has recently outperformed the men’s side, and plans to hire Hungarian coach Ondrás Nocz to help it succeed further. Max wants to prevent the coach from reaching the company, devising a scheme to make him lose his way. Max’s family, however, tries to thwart the sabotage before the coach is insulted, the company is harmed, or the manager is angered.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

Max’s 70th birthday is just around the corner. But he cannot celebrate the big milestone in style. Once again, the reason his birthday party is being spoiled is his former workplace: he is at odds with the company’s women’s football team. The company recently got a new manager, Mr. Schraps. He would rather support the women’s team, which has since far outperformed the company’s men’s team. Now Schraps also wants to hire a new coach named Ondrás Nocz from Hungary. He is supposed to lead the women to even greater success. Manager Schraps still has no interest in the men’s team. But Max wants to prevent the new Hungarian coach from arriving. He comes up with a plan: the coach must never reach the company and should get lost on the way. But Max has not reckoned with his family. They want to prevent his sabotage so that the coach is not insulted, the company is not ruined, and the manager is not angered. In the end, things get even more bizarre: a strange Hungarian woman appears who, by coincidence—or perhaps not—has the same name as the future Hungarian coach of the company’s women’s football team.
